Scott began his career in the floral business in 1985. Together with his wife Diane they formed a chain of flowers shops called Diversified Floral. The chain of shops employed over 40 full and part time employees and had sales over 2M. The chain was sold in 1999. Scott then began a successful wholesale floral company with sales over 5M and 50 plus employees. In 1998 Scott purchased the Minneapolis Farmers Market Annex where he continued to sell and market fresh flowers. He and his wife Diane are the proud parents of their two children Tracy and Jay. They live in Prior Lake, Minnesota.
